   The Beaver Creek Camp Commission, employees, and volunteers at Beaver Creek Youth Camp & Christian Retreat believe the we should love our neighbor as ourselves. As such we strive to make Beaver Creek a safe, comfortable place for everyone and especially children.
    Beaver Creek Youth Camp is operated within the guidelines of Safe Sanctuaries, a policy and procedures directive of The United Methodist Church designed to protect all God's children from harm.
    The camp is licensed by the State of Colorado as a Child Care Facility (License #47928) and must "comply at all times with the Child Care Act and the rules and standards of the Department of Human Services." Among the rules are requirements that certain information be posted, in various formats, for the general public. Those notices for which internet posting is appropriate are below.

    In addition, Beaver Creek Youth Camp is a drug free campus and holds a Special Use Permit with the Rio Grande National Forest which also requires certain public notices. Those, also, are posted below.

     Beaver Creek Youth Camp & Christian Retreat is a drug and alcohol free zone. Employees (including volunteers) for the Christian Youth Camp may be drug tested the 1st or 2nd day on site and are subject to random tests throughout the camp season.
